At Vallformosa Foundation, we are dedicated to structuring, promoting, and generating prosperity projects for people, the region, and its entirety. Our aim is to activate, motivate, drive, and convince companies from various sectors, both public and private, to actively participate in Vallformosa Foundation to build a more sustainable world. Public-private collaboration will be a cornerstone to making this a reality.

After more than three years of internal work, at Vallformosa Foundation, we are ready to fulfill our mission.
We promote and lead prosperity projects for the region, fostering a sense of belonging, with a global vision that, as a result of climate change, new technologies, emerging habits, the evolving mindset of people, and the sociodemographic challenge, requires new economic models and new forms of territorial governance, providing solutions to current needs.

Our Journey
2020
Vallformosa Foundation is relaunched with a global vision and more ambitious goals at the territorial, social, and sustainability levels.
2021
Ricardo Bofill and his team RTBA conduct a preliminary study of the territory consisting of the Vallformosa landscapes and present a general proposal for the management of its immediate future.
2022
A landscape study of the past, its environment, and the history of Vall Formosa is conducted by historian Montserrat Villaverde.
2023
The creation of the Vallformosa Foundation Chair in Strategic Territorial Transformation for Community Well-being at the UPF Barcelona School of Management, with the aim of defining a new model of relationship between institutions, people, businesses, and territory that is fairer, more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable.
2024
Completion of various conceptual works and studies.
Consolidation of the structure of Vallformosa Foundation and commitment to and formalization of the Foundation’s first projects.
We join the Board of Trustees of the Princess of Girona Foundation and the CBA.
2025
We are going to develop our Prosperity Projects for people and territories.
